Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce & the Interior Provincial Exhibition present the 2016 IPE Parade

“Bushels of Fun for Everyone” Celebrating the Field and Seed Division
The traditions continue with the annual IPE parade on Saturday morning at 10am.
With over 100 entries, the IPE Parade will start at 10:00am sharp.
The parade will start by Country West Supply and travel along Pleasant Valley Blvd. then finishing along Smith Dr. Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs and come early to avoid traffic delays.
PARADE RULES AND REGULATIONS
All entries must be 75% decorated. Non-decorated entries will be subject to $100.00 advertising fee. Antique vehicles are the only exception. NO GAPS. Motorized, mounted or marching units must maintain a forwards motion - no countermarches.
Parade assembles at Country West Supply 3155 Pleasant Valley Road. Watch for signs to direct you to the appropriate drop off and parking areas. Large tractor trailer units are to be on site by 8:00 am.
Parade ends at Smith Dr. & Rosedale Ave. Entries will continue back to the marshalling area unless arrangements have been made with the parade committee. Equestrian entries, bands and those required to be on the fairgrounds will proceed from the marshalling area to Park Drive.
Entries must be in the marshalling area by 9 am for judging. Bands may be asked to perform 2 short pieces. Parade leaves the marshalling area at 10am sharp; ribbons will be handed out as parade moves onto route.
All animal entries must provide walkers and pooper scoopers, no exceptions. No fires, candles, smoking or alcohol near parade entries. Throwing of anything (candy, brochures, or give-aways) is not allowed. Entries may provide walkers to hand out candy.
The parade committee will allot parade positions, committee decisions are FINAL. Positions assigned at time of Parade.
