PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
On behalf of the Board of Directors, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the 111th INTERIOR PROVINCIAL EXHIBITION AND STAMPEDE.
We take great pride in showcasing agricultural achievements at our five-day exhibition. “Our Fair” has become one of the largest in Western Canada and we hope you enjoy your experience here. We endeavor to entertain you, while teaching how important agriculture is to each and every one of us. The IPE has survived the tests of time by honouring, retaining and reinforcing our traditional values.
Canadians celebrated the 2010 Olympics with energy and enthusiasm. Continuing with the pride and momentum the Olympics brought to Canada we hope you celebrate what “agriculture” does for all of us. At “Our Fair” we bring together the producers, the marketers, the suppliers and the distributors in an effort to put food on our tables, while we enjoy the rural lifestyle. Let’s celebrate those commitments to sustainable practices, so we can continue to thrive. Come to the fair, meet these people and thank them for their determination to provide “reason” to celebrate. Have some “down home” family fun!!!
The Calgary Stampede is coming to the fair again this year as the official stock contractor for the Rodeo. Our Rodeo placed second last year for the best rodeo in Western Canada, and having the Calgary Stampede on board, will help us continue to be one of the prime rodeos in the Nation.
Also enjoy the 4-H shows, Kid’s World, the Exhibits, Vendors, Youth Talent Contest, Entertainment and the West Coast Show’s Midway. There is something for every age at the Armstrong Fair.
This year “Haystack” will honour the Beef Division, so ‘LET’S BEEF THINGS UP AT THE IPE”.

GENERAL MANAGER'S MESSAGE
On behalf of the hard working and dedicated team that make the Fair what it is, “Let’s Beef it up at the IPE!” this year.
Our theme this year is a focus on our Beef Division. Make sure you visit the beef area and check out all the exhibits! The fair will continue to embrace the Family Fun atmosphere, showcase our agricultural roots and provide a few new and exciting activities and programs to meet the needs of our guests.
Once again, I hope to see many of you at the fair and hope we will provide a lifetime of memories as you experience the largest agricultural exhibition in the province.
A special thank you to all our staff, sponsors, partners, exhibitors, entertainers, suppliers, retailers, vendors and volunteers that ensure the traditions continue and that new memories are made when the fair comes to town.
