If you’re attending the rodeo, make sure your child, 5 or under, can sit in your lap for the entire event, as seating is assigned.

No, we do not offer wheelchairs at the event but we do offer transporters from one end of the grounds to the other.
Guests are responsible for their tickets after purchase. We are unable to offer refunds, replacements, or reissues for lost, stolen, or misplaced tickets.

Yes. Admission passes are available at the gate.

You can re-enter at our gates from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM; after this, gate re-entry is only available at Gate #2 (Wood Street) until 10:00 PM.

The only exception is for dance ticket holders, where entry through Gate #4 (Adair Street) is permitted after 10:00 PM; however, there is no re-entry allowed after 10:00 PM on any gates.

Parking is $10/day!

Wednesday is Senior Day, and guests over 85 receive free admission.
Rodeo tickets can be used to get onto grounds starting at 5:30pm, ticket will be scanned at front gate and then again at rodeo entrance. So come grab dinner or do some shopping before heading to the Rodeo!
Lost and found items may be turned in at the Information Booths and are brought to the office at the end of each night.
There is shuttle available to take you from one end of the grounds to the other. The pick up and drop off areas are located at the Wood Avenue entrance gate at the north end and the Community Corner area at the south end of the fairgrounds. This service is provided at peak times daily and does not follow the gate schedule.

You can find the paid IPE parking lot off Wood Avenue. If you miss this parking lot, don’t worry there is a lot more paid parking all around the area! All vehicles must be parked in designated areas only. These areas will be clearly marked and include Main Parking Lot, Exhibitor Parking, and VIP Parking. No parking is permitted outside these designated areas. Armstrong does get busy during the fair. The downtown area does have parking but be aware of businesses that need their parking stalls for their own customers. If you are planning on coming to the fair all day, then consider paid parking through one of the many parking areas surrounding the fairgrounds. There are several groups including Girl Guides, Armstrong Elementary and Highland Park schools that also have parking during the fair.

Yes. Admission tickets may be used on any one day of the event, but each ticket can only be used once.
Yes. Accessible parking is available on a first come, first served basis.
Rodeo tickets can sell quickly, so we recommend purchasing early.

At Armstrong IPE, we are committed to providing a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for all our guests. Here are our essential ground rules: No Violence: Any form of violence, threats, or harassment towards other guests or staff will result in immediate expulsion from the grounds and potential legal action. No Drugs or Illegal Substances: The possession, use, or sale of illegal drugs or substances is strictly prohibited. Violators will be removed from the premises and may face legal consequences. No Outside Alcohol: Outside alcohol is not permitted on the premises. Alcohol may be purchased and consumed only in designated areas. Please enjoy responsibly. Inspections: Bags, Purses, Packs, & strollers may be searched before entering or during the IPE for safety and security reasons. Behaviour: Disruptive behaviour, including excessive noise or any activity that disrupts the enjoyment of other guests, is not allowed. Respect all guests and staff to maintain a positive atmosphere. Property Respect: Do not damage or deface property. Guests found responsible for property damage will be held accountable, including bearing the cost of repairs.
Yes. To transfer tickets through Showpass: Log in to your Showpass account. Select Orders or My Orders. Find the order with the ticket you want to transfer. Click Order Options. Select Transfer to a Friend or Transfer Tickets to a Friend. Choose the ticket or tickets you would like to transfer. Click Continue. Enter the recipient’s email address. Click Send Transfer.

Attendees only arriving for dances can enter through any gate up until 9:00 PM, after 9:00 PM, they can enter through Gate #2 (Wood Street) until 10:00 PM.

Yes! Live music shows happen daily at the Main Stage and Community Corner Stage and are included in your general admission ticket.

To exchange tickets through Showpass: Log in to your Showpass account. Go to My Orders. Find the order or tickets you would like to exchange. Click Order Options. Select Exchange Tickets. Choose the new available date, time, or ticket option. Complete the checkout process. Any price difference must be paid before the exchange is finalised. Once complete, your new tickets will appear in your Showpass account, and your original tickets will no longer be valid.

Yes, of course! There is a water bottle refill station in between the Poultry Barn and the Horticulture building as well as at the Valley First Rest area by Gate 2. Remember to stay hydrated!

Whatever works for you! Whether you’re bringing a tent, trailer, motorhome, van, or even just your car, you’re welcome here. We’re all about making camping accessible, no matter how you roll in.
If your Showpass ticket is not loading or scanning properly, please try the following: Make sure you are logged into the correct Showpass account used to purchase the tickets. Ensure your ticket has not already been scanned or transferred to another guest. Refresh your ticket page or reopen the Showpass app or confirmation email. Increase your screen brightness so the barcode or QR code can scan properly. Take a screenshot of your ticket before arriving in case of poor cell service. Check your confirmation email to make sure you are attending the correct event date and time.

No, pets are not welcomed on grounds. This is for the safety of your animal, as well as the safety for the livestock on grounds. Exception – Service animal (May require proof)
There are three designated smoking/vaping areas on the fairgrounds. These areas are situated away from barns, hay, and other fuel sources. Please respect these areas as they are approved by the Fire Department to ensure that the fairgrounds stay safe during this dry season. The IPE will not permit the use of controlled substances on any properties associated with the IPE during the dates of the exhibition.

Overnight parking is not generally allowed but if you need to leave your car overnight due to having so much fun at the beer gardens or the weekend dances the IPE agrees with your decision not to drive home and leave your vehicle overnight. IPE is not responsible for theft or damages. Please leave valuables left out of sight.

For weekend Rodeo shows, we suggest arriving 30-45 minutes early, to avoid congestion. During the weekday rodeos, arriving 10-15 minutes before is enough time to get settled before the fun kicks off! View the full schedule here.
Designated Camping Areas: Camping is allowed only in designated areas. Each campsite will have specific rules regarding fire pits, noise levels, and waste disposal. Campsite Maintenance: Campsites must be kept clean and tidy. All trash must be disposed of in provided receptacles. Fire Safety: NO OPEN FIRES. You must also abide by the local fire restrictions. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 6 AM. All noise must be kept to a minimum to respect the comfort of all campers. Wildlife and Environment: Do not feed wildlife. All flora and fauna within the camping area are protected. Avoid altering any site vegetation.
